Also, check out this post: http://www.stephmodo.com/2011/03/preparedness.html

We do have the 72 hour kit bags of food in the trunk of our car (the ones we got from Enrichment) along with a couple of water bottles and a flashlight. We have a few gallons of water in our van - but no food there. Nothing in the truck but a tarp. So yeah, I need to get myself if gear.Ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14013441416153600406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8232084175797565206.post-67857515097078804782011-03-15T15:33:54.439-07:002011-03-15T15:33:54.439-07:00That's a pretty impressive spin teacher! No idle chit-chat during class - or good emergency preparedness lessons. I have decided to have my 72-hour-kits updated & ready to go before April conference. Hopefully, the earth can hold still until then!!Jennahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10053294732592347387noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8232084175797565206.post-91373334925554917792011-03-15T09:44:52.525-07:002011-03-15T09:44:52.525-07:00Thanks for the reminder. I learned my lesson during one of the last power outages when Evan woke up screaming while I ran around in the dark trying to find a flashlight. But I don't have a good kit in my car. Nor do we have water. We did the backpack 72 hour kits back when we only had 2 kids and put off re-doing them because it all just gets thrown away and not used. So, I've been trying to figure out a good way to do it. Anyway, thanks for the reminder and motivation. We really should take it more seriously up here with all the earthquake, flooding, volcano and tsunami possibilities. Yikes!Stephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17179879480626050842noreply@blogger.com
