Me: (totally have no idea) Uh, I don't know...
Riley: Oh, Daddy will know.
Me: (defeated) Yeah, I guess Daddy probably will know.
Riley: Oh actually, Miss Ashlee (preschool teacher) will know. She knows everything!
Me: (extra defeated because I have been trumped not once - but twice) Yeah, you are probably right. Let's take it to preschool and ask her.

Thats my girl! :) Just remember, I only get her for a few more months, a year if I'm lucky. Then I'm nothing but a faint memory...you have her FOREVER!

Deletehahaha! i'm totally not laughing at you because i swear i have had this conversation with my kids so many times. but, you write it out so perfectly.
ReplyDeleteOh believe me it doesn't get any better Katie - Isaac will still ask me questions that I don't have the answers to(especially related to math) and when I apologize for not being able to help he says "That's ok mom, what time does Dick get home, he'll know" BAM! But their are many things you do know and when it comes to cooking and baking, laundry, taking care of babies, style, the gospel etc she will turn to you! :)
